Randy – Regeneration & Conversion

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Randy discusses what Primitive Baptists believe regarding the doctrines of regeneration and conversion. Regeneration is the sovereign act of God to speak life to a child of God and make him, in that instant, fit for heaven at his death – this is what is normally referred to as “being born again.” But Randy also stressed that conversion, which is an act of God (and the will of a regenerate man) to turn to God in repentance and obedience, is also presented in the bible in terms of a new birth.

Randy McCarthy discusses the rebuilding of the second temple in Jerusalem (around 520 B.C.) as chronicled in the books of Ezra, Haggai, and Zechariah. Randy examined the 8 night visions of Zechariah as recorded in chapters 1-6 (Zech 1:7-6:15), with emphasis on the vision of the BRANCH in Zech Chapter 3.

Mark Wattenbarger focuses on the letter to the Church of Ephesus. In the midst of divine culture, with all manner of influences; the scripture teaches us to walk worthy of our vocation (Eph 4:1-2), and to put forward the effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit (Eph 4:3).
