Salvation – Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth

Allen Daniels

Brother Allen spoke about the importance of reading the Bible in context, giving several examples of salvation in the Bible and explaining why we cannot assume that every mention of salvation is referring to an eternal salvation.

Text: 2 Timothy 2:15

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Order and Chaos (Part 2)

Elder McCarthy and Elder Daniels continued from last week’s message about how God makes Order out of Chaos.

Randy McCarthy

Text: Luke 8:26-40  Jesus (The Logos of God) cast our a Legion of devils from the Gadarene; thus bringing order out of chaos. Jesus can do the same in the lives of His children today.
Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee.”

Darkness & Light / Chaos & Order

Randy McCarthy
Brother Randy contrasted Darkness to Light and
Chaos to Order, using John Chapter 1 and Genesis Chapter 1 as scriptural references. He spoke of how that God (the Logos) is the One who brings order into our chaotic lives and the devil (Satan) is the one who brings disorder into our lives and robs us of our peace and joy in the Kingdom of God.

Text: John 1:1-5; Gen 1:1-5

Scriptural References: Isaiah 45:7; Col 1:12-13;

Allen Daniels
Brother Allen continued speaking on the topic set forth by Elder McCarthy by comparing the natural creation of God to the Spiritual (new) Creation that all of God’s elect children shall receive in regeneration.

Text: 2 Cor 4:1-7; Col 1:12-19

Scriptural References: Romans 5:12; Gen 1:1-3; Eph 1:3-5; 2 Tim 1:9-10; Romans 8:6-8; John 1:1; Acts 26:13; 1 Cor 5:17; Eph 2:10; Gen 2:7 1 John 4:4 Romans 8:35-39; Romans 8:1
