What is Truth?

Mark Wattenbarger opened services reading from John 18 (John 18:33-40) about Jesus being judged before Pilate.
His topic is from John 18:37-38  “… for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.  Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?  He continues reading in John 19 detailing the account of Pilate finding no fault with Jesus before releasing him to the Jews for crucifixion.  He then moved to John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”


Allen Daniels read from 1Pet 3:12-15 and gave follow-up comment on Truth.

Humility and Pride

Randy McCarthy opened services reading from Galatians (Gal 1:1-5).


Mark Wattenbarger began by reading from Hebrews Chapters 3 and 5 (Heb 3:1-5,  Heb 5:1-10).   He focused on the office of the High Priest and its qualifications (after the order of Melchisedec), and that Jesus through his eternal sacrifice has been made the Great High Priest.
