After reading some history of (American) Thanksgiving [Washington’s Thanksgiving Proclamation], Mark reminds us the reason for our ability to give thanks each day is the sure truth that God always does everything right and well.(Mark 7:20-23, 31-37); (Gen 4:1-8)
